Juke Books 1 really worked for me, in many varied ways and as much, if not more, since the session.
Rilke and Highsmith in particular have come to centre stage of my recent reading. Rainer Maria Rilke thanks to Anna's reading from his Letters to a Young Poet. Patricia Highsmith via the realisation, triggered by Tim's reading from Deep Water that there is very much more to her body of work than the five novels of what some refer to as 'The Ripliad'.
I very much look forward to Juke Books 2 and and thankfully should be able to Zoom along next Tuesday at 6.30.
