Emerging Writers' Club - Winter Posting
A New Chance For You To Share Your Work - And Get Valuable Feedback
Welcome to the Winter Edition of the Boot Camp Emerging Writers’ Club - a chance for you to share your work and get feedback from me and other writers in the group.
How does it work? Simple. Just post your submission on the link at the bottom of this thread. Other subscribers can then read and comment on your work.
Thanks to advice from Boot Camper Ann Gauger, I think I might have finally worked out a way to make this function in a sensible way.
The below link will take you to a Google Folder.
You can DRAG AND DROP your submission into this folder - and then any other members of the Bootcamp can then read and comment on your work.
If you wish to submit, no more than 2,500 words, please.
At the top of your submission, give your name, the kind of work it is ( short story/memoir/novel extract), the word count and the title.
If you wish to comment on a submission, please write your NAME at the beginning of the comment then put the comment, in italics, at the bottom of the submission.
Please be constructive, but also be frank. This exercise is not purely about encouragement ( although it is that too) but learning to write better.
When we have a sufficient number of submissions - usually at least four - I will set up a Zoom meeting for us all to discuss the work together.
So that’s it! Submit, submit, submit as soon as you can, because there is limited space.
The link appears beneath the paywall.
I will post again when we have enough submissions to set up a Zoom meet.
At Ease!
