I’m devoting this thread to one of the most profound speeches on the creative process I have ever read.
It is by my screenwriting hero, Charlie Kaufman ( also author of the awesomely funny novel ‘Antkind’. )
Kaufman’s screenplays are extraordinary.
All of them.
My personal favourite is ‘Adaptation’ closely followed by ‘Synecdoche NY’.
They’re mad, surreal, original, very funny and very profound.
